The very condensed Grandmaster is inspired by 20th century Antique Press fonts and explores the border between text and abstraction. The extremely vertical structure, the regularity of its shapes and counter-shapes make it an almost-kinetic titling typeface, perfect for any incisive editorial layout. The name and height pay tribute to the era of the legendary Grandmaster Flash, a pioneer of hip-hop DJing, cutting, scratching and mixing.
Grandmaster comes in five weights, each with a carefully crafted Latin glyph set, including alternates, OpenType features, stylistic sets and symbols.
