Fran

A delightful Egyptian Queen.

Fran is a strong yet elegant slab serif family available in six weights, from a gentle thin to a vigorous ultra. It has a subtle and quiet character which gradually grows louder as the weight increases. The delicate contrast becomes more profound and the unbracketed serifs chunkier and energetic. This makes the lighter styles perfectly suited for continuous texts and the heavier ideal for sizes that demand the readers attention. 

Fran comes equipped with a series of OpenType features including oldstyle and lining (proportional and tabular) numerals, numerators and denominators, superiors and inferiors, fractions, case sensitive forms, contextual alternates, and a variety of symbols. Fran offers an extended character set that supports Central and Eastern European languages, and an alternate set of accented uppercase characters that allows for tighter and more playful titling settings.
